Communist Rules for Revolution

socialism, media bias, demoralization, gun confiscation |

This is a surprisingly accurate commentary on contemporary Canadian culture. While contemporary communists use euphemisms to promote their ideas, the same forces are at work destroying the fabric of society, centralizing power, and removing individual freedoms. |

The following list was published in the Bartlesville Examiner-Enterprise
in 1919, after the Allied Forces obtained a copy in Dusselorf, Germany.
Communist Rules for Revolution
- Corrupt the young; get them away from religion. Get them
interested in sex. Make them superficial; destroy their ruggedness.
- Get control of all means of publicity, thereby:
- get peoples minds off their government by focusing their attention on
athletics, sexy books and plays, and other trivialities
- divide the people into hostile groups by constantly harping on
controversial matters of no importance.
- destroy the people's faith in their natural leaders by holding the
latter up to contempt, ridicule and disgrace.
- always preach true democracy, but seize power as fast and ruthlessly
as possible.
- by encouraging government extravagance, destroying its credit, produce
fear of inflation with rising prices and general discontent.
- incite unnecessary strikes in vital industries, encourage civil
disorders, and foster a lenient and soft attitude on
the part of government toward such disorders.
- by specious argument, cause the breakdown of the moral
virtues--honesty, sobriety, self-restraint, faith in the pledged word.
- Cause the registration of all firearms on some pretext, with a
view to confiscating them and leaving the population helpless.
